The Foam Density of our Spa Covers
When purchasing a spa cover or hot tub cover, the construction and materials should be your first consideration.
Foam density refers to the weight of a cubic foot of foam. We offer our foam cores in 1.0lb, 1.5lb, 2.0lb and super-foam densities.
The higher the density the stronger the cover will be, (i.e. support more weight) plus the better the insulation (i.e. R-14 to R-19). Higher densities are more resistant to water saturation.
